“If this is not your idea of ‘I must have been good in a previous life’, then you are crazy,” remarks SFWeekly about the Shrimp & Grits Taste-Off at MoAD.

One night only. sf|noir’s first fundraiser! Get tickets now before it sells out again!

6PM-10PM
Museum of the African Diaspora

On Thursday February 17, 2011, sf|noir will celebrate its 10th Anniversary at the Museum of the African Diaspora by holding its first ever fundraiser as it celebrates a new chapter in the organization’s evolution. As we move towards becoming a year-round arts organization programming engaging, cutting-edge events that celebrate cultural achievements and excellence from a “Black” lens, sf|noir invites you to come and experience this wonderful evening of culinary delights from top chefs in the Bay Area providing their interpretations of a mainstay of African American cuisine, Shrimp & Grits, and wine tastings from some amazing vintners from Napa and Sonoma, including several African American wineries.

Favored restaurants from last year’s event like 1300 on Fillmore and Gussie’s Chicken & Waffles will be back in the lineup joined by new restaurants not in the lineup last year, like Farmer Brown.

Tickets on sale now. Click here to purchase.
