Join sf|noir on Saturday, February 21, 2015 as we continue our partnership with JCCSF to bring you the Giants of Jazz on Film series.

Harlem’s Apollo Theater was home to the finest in black variety entertainment including jazz, song, comedy and dance. Jazz historian Mark Cantor takes us on a journey back to its heyday, via vintage film clips. Artists to be featured on screen are Count Basie; Dinah Washington; Billy Eckstine; The Berry Brothers; The Ink Spots; Tip, Tap and Toe, and many others!
